The Latest COVID-19 Update – 03/13/20 #2
March 13, 2020.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued cooperation in this rapidly evolving environment. The following are the latest developments, processes and actions we are taking to keep our residents and staff as safe as possible surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.
Beginning immediately, we are now enforcing that all non-medical visitors refrain from entering the community. Medical visitors will be limited to nursing and hospice providers only. Should you have a direct need to visit your loved one, please contact MaryAnn (Director of Health Services) at email@example.com (402-498-9554) or Jessica (Executive Director) at firstname.lastname@example.org (402-431-4800).
We are also asking that all residents remain in the community and do not leave for appointments or social outings with family and friends. Our Health Services office will be contacting residents and family regarding rescheduling previously scheduled transportation. We have set up internal services for medical visits to take place in the resident’s apartment. Should you have a need or wish for your loved one to be able to partake in this service, please contact MaryAnn in the Health Services office.
Sadly, we will no longer be accepting reservations for events within the community. If you have an upcoming reservation for our private dining room, we will gladly assist with rescheduling and apologize for any inconvenience this may pose. All in house activities and events, however, will be held as scheduled for our residents!
For everyone’s continued protection, we have temporarily eliminated the use of all public coffee and self-serve stations throughout the community.
We appreciate and thank our Staff, Residents, Family Members and Visitors for your support in keeping our community safe. For the most current and up to date information regarding Parsons House response to changing developments, please follow (and like) our Facebook page.
